Europe now has its first instant delivery platform for medicines—Mayd. The German startup has raised EUR 13mn for its seed round backed by 468 Capital, Target Global and Earlybird Venture Capital

Founded in April of this year, Mayd is applying the quick commerce model to medication. It will start with deliveries of non-prescription drugs, offering a range of products from pain relief, PPE, vitamins and supplements to homeopathy remedies to drugs which manage cold and flu symptoms.

The company operates out of Hamburg and Berlin and was founded by Hanno Heintzenberg and Lukas Pieczonka.
