Dija raises $20mn seed round

Dija, a service that delivers groceries in ten minutes, or less, has raised USD 20mn for its seed round from Blossom Capital, Creandum and Index Ventures. Founded by two ex-Deliveroo executives, Alberto Menolascina and Yusuf Saban, funds will go towards building its grocery delivery business.

The groceries app has also recently acquired of Genie Delivery, a Cambridge startup, which delivers snacks, drinks and everyday essentials in fifteen minutes, or less, with late-night hours. Its founders Tim Chan and Callum MacBeth will join the Dija team.
