Cajoo in talks to sell minority stake to Carrefour

Cajoo, a French on-demand delivery app, has entered into exclusive negotiations with Carrefour to sell a minority stake. The company was founded by Henri Capoul with the aim of selling a wide-range of everyday groceries at attractive prices delivered in under fifteen minutes.

With this investment, Carrefour aims to pursue its ecommerce ambitions while keeping abreast of emerging consumer trends. The investment will include an exclusive partnership that is focused replenishment and operational logistics in Cajoo’s dark stores.

Cajoo was established in February 2021. It is available in ten French cities:  Paris, Neuilly-sur-Seine, Levallois-Perret, Boulogne-Billancourt, Lyon, Lille, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Montpellier, Nice.

The app is available for free from the App Store and from Google Play.

Delivery fee: €1.95; free for orders of €40 and above.
